Sheridan Beach Community Club offers 30 minute private and semi-private swim lessons to swimmers who benefit from a one-on-one instructor experience. Private swim lessons take place between 11:30AM and 2PM 6 days a week (Monday’s off). Lessons are available to purchase in sets of 2: Tuesday/Thursday, Wednesday/Friday, and Saturday/Sunday. Customers get to request a Sheridan Beach Swim Instructor of their choice—in the absence of instructor preference, the club recommends one of our many wonderful teachers.
**Take note that some private lessons occur during the same time block as Group lessons. If signing up for private lessons in addition to group lessons, make sure they are not in the same 30 minute time interval as the child’s group lessons.
Private Lessons are offered for one swimmer and Semi-Private Lessons are offered for two swimmers from the same household.

Pricing is as follows per two-lesson set.
Private, Member – $64 ($32 per class)
Private, Non-Member – $86 ($43 per class)
Semi-Private, Member – $96 ($48 per class)
Semi-Private, Non-Member – $128 ($64 per class)
- Lessons take place in our outdoor pool at 16500 Shore Drive NE Lake Forest Park, WA. For swim lessons the front gate will be open; however, if you are locked out call (206) 364-0920 to be let in the club.
- Please arrive for the lesson 10-15 minutes early for check-in. Patrons may wait on the pool deck until the start of the lesson.
- Children not yet toilet trained must be wearing a swim diaper at all times.
- Goggles are highly recommended for all levels.
- Lessons will still be conducted in the rain, but they will be canceled for thunderstorms per Red Cross guidelines.
- After a lesson, nonmembers may remain on the lawn for up to thirty minutes before leaving the club.
