Lifeguard Applications Now Open for the 2026 Season. Apply by March 20, 2026!

Sheridan Beach Club is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for lifeguard positions for the upcoming 2026 season. Lifeguards play a critical role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for our members and guests. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Enforcing all pool and club rules
  2. Adhering to guidelines outlined in the employee manual
  3. Maintaining current Red Cross Lifeguard certification
  4. Assisting as swim instructors for members when needed
  5. Supporting a welcoming club atmosphere and serving as positive role models for younger members
  6. Helping maintain the cleanliness and safety of the club facilities throughout the season

 Minimum Requirements (by May 22, 2026):

  1. Must be at least 16 years of age
  2. Current certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid

Application Requirements for New Applicants:

  1. Resume
  2. Cover letter including: 
    1. Why you want to work at Sheridan Beach
    2. Desired number of hours
    3. Summer availability (start/end dates)
    4. Any scheduling conflicts (sports, vacations, etc.)
  3. Names and contact information for two references

Returning Lifeguards:
Submit a letter of intent by March 20 to sheridanbeachlfp@gmail.com. Include your desired hours, summer availability, and any scheduling conflicts.

Application Timeline:

  1. Initial application period closes March 20
  2. Interviews will be scheduled during the first few weeks of April
