Lifeguard Applications are now open! Apply by March 21, 2025

We are excited to announce that Sheridan Beach is now accepting lifeguard applications for the 2025 Season. The duties of Sheridan Beach lifeguards are first and foremost about maintaining a safe environment for members and guests. This includes enforcing all pool and club rules, following guidelines in the employee manual, and keeping a current Red Cross certification. Many of our lifeguards will also serve as swim instructors. Sheridan Beach lifeguards are an integral part of creating a welcoming club atmosphere and serve as positive role models for our younger members. Lifeguards also ensure that the club facility is maintained throughout the season.

Minimum requirements for employment by May 24, 2025:

  • Age 16 or older
  • Current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid Certification

All new applicants are required to submit:

  1.  A resume
  2. A cover letter to include why you want to work at Sheridan Beach, how many hours you hope to work, your availability over the summer including start/end dates, and any conflicts (sports/vacations) that may affect your availability.
  3. The names and contact information for two references.

Returning SBCC lifeguards must submit a letter of intent by March 21 via email to sheridanbeachlfp@gmail.com. This letter of intent should include how many hours you hope to work, your availability over the summer including start/end dates, and any conflicts (sports/vacations) that may affect your availability.
